hi, i’m sarah!
With over a decade of experience in brand management and creative marketing across diverse industries in the US and Canada, I took a bold step into the world of freelancing by launching lake ave. in early 2024. I began my career in 2014 after earning a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Western Ontario, and I've donned various hats in the marketing realm ever since. From crafting compelling campaigns and managing PR to contributing to product development for renowned brands such as Real Techniques, Dr. Scholl’s, and Scrub Daddy, I’ve learned a lot in the last ten years. While my past roles brought their own rewards, it was my freelancing venture with a local business in my small NJ town that illuminated my true passion. I found immense joy in assisting a small and local business realize their full potential. I truly, truly love what I do and would love to help your brand grow to it’s highest potential.
